Alethia’s main interest is in the role that business and policy can play in promoting economic and social empowerment and sustainability. In addition to serving as an Engaged Student Ambassador, she’s participated in many community-engaged learning opportunities at Cornell, including the SMART program (twice) in China and Rwanda, and the South Africa Impact Learning trip. She has also conducted research with the center for Sustainable Global Enterprise.
