The Ultra High Purity (UHP) Welding Program at the Cornell NanoScale Science and Technology Facility (CNF) provides students with hands-on training in specialized welding techniques used in semiconductor and cleanroom manufacturing environments. Participants learn orbital welding, UHP gas line installation, vacuum technology, and related skills that prepare them for high-demand careers in the advanced manufacturing and semiconductor industries, among others.
